Etisha Collective towels are completely woven from GOTS certified organic Black Sea cotton which is known to have one of the longest fibers in the world, ensuring supreme absorbency.
Cotton is never absorbent on the bush but has the ability to learn, hence must be taught. Factories use chemicals to teach their cotton how to absorb while our towels just need a simple soak.
When you first receive your towel, soak it for 12-24 hours in cold water for our tight organic cotton to bloom.
Wring by hand or drip dry.
A subsequent washing machine cycle at 35 degrees with cool-medium dry can follow but is optional.
Antimicrobial properties of organic cotton makes it naturally resistant to molds and mildews Easy everyday care with delicate cold or warm machine wash with natural laundry detergent is recommended. Can be tumble or line dried.
If you see a thread snagged from the towel, simply cut the snag or pull with a scissor to leave the weave unaffected. Do not use bleach or fabric softener as the chemicals break down the natural fibres resulting in reduced strength and durability of the fabric. Opt for natural treatments to clean stains - add 1/4 cup of baking side and one cup of white vinegar to your wash.
We promise that our loomed towel will feel unbelievably soft and will get softer with every use for years to come if cared for properly. If you have any questions, queries or concerns during the entire lifetime of your towel, please feel free to write to our concierge.
